We've revised the description of our Prudential Property Fund to make it clearer that it can, at times, hold significant levels of cash (short term deposits), which could happen in advance of purchasing or following the sale of a property and this may lead to lower than expected returns.

There is no change to the fund's objective or risk rating.

New Description

This fund invests directly in commercial property in the UK, including retail, office and industrial properties and provides returns through a combination of rental income and capital growth. At times the fund may have significant levels of cash (short term deposits) in advance of purchasing or following the sale of property. This may lead to lower than expected returns. The fund is actively managed against its benchmark, the IPD UK Pooled Property Fund All Balanced Index.

Old Description

The fund invests directly in commercial properties in the UK. The fund is actively managed against its benchmark, the IPD UK Pooled Property Fund All Balanced Index. The fund is well diversified investing in the retail, office and industrial sectors of the market.
