It is important that new car buyers are aware of how the features of their latest vehicles actually work, according to one organisation.
Motor insurance customers hoping to purchase a new car at the beginning of March need to have a good knowledge of the model in order to avoid accidents, M&S Car Insurance suggests.
As few as 21% of the car users polled in a recent survey by the firm have full confidence in their ability to correctly work all the features of a new vehicle.
The organisation's David Wells suggests that motor insurance customers should be aware of their new car's features before they leave a garage.
He commented: "To avoid taking risks and potentially causing an accident, it is important to take time to familiarise yourself with the features of a car that's new to you."
