Our home insurance policies offer a range of benefits to suit different needs.

Buildings insurance

• Up to £400,000 of cover for the loss or damage to buildings (higher levels also considered)
• Up to £25 towards your switcher fee when you move your buildings insurance from your mortgage provider
• We'll automatically increase your buildings sum insured in line with the House Rebuilding Cost Index
• Up to £5,000 to repair any damage caused to your home whilst finding or accessing any hidden escape of water, for example a hole cut in the wall to fix a burst pipe
• Includes accidental damage cover to your sanitary units such as the kitchen sink or shower tray
• Cover extended to provide up to £1,000 to replace plants, shrubs and trees in your garden in the event of theft or vandalism

Contents insurance

• Cover for your plants, lawns, and trees up to £1,000 in the event of loss or damage. Plus, an additional £1,000 for your contents outside - like patio furniture and ornaments, so your garden is well protected. We even cover your favourite gnome!
• New-for-old cover on your contents, excluding clothing and linen
• Access to a 24-hour household emergency helpline to get problems fixed by a local repairer
• Accidental damage cover for DVD players, TVs, Hi-Fi equipment and home computers
• Protection for items temporarily removed from the home - perfect if your child is at university
• Replacement costs for locks and keys in the event they are stolen
• Home Emergency Assistance: Up to £250 towards the cost of emergency repairs in the home without affecting your No Claims Discount
• Identity Theft Assistance Helpline: Access to expert help and advice on any concerns you may have about ID theft in addition to specialist support and advice should you become a victim of ID theft
