To complement our home insurance policies, we also offer a range of optional extras that can be added to your policy.

Accidental damage cover

For an additional cost you can protect your home and contents against those all too frequent accidents, from minor mishaps to major DIY catastrophes.

Added to your contents insurance, accidental damage cover includes:

• Protection for home entertainment equipment such as TVs, DVD players and computers
• Breakages to mirrors and glass
• Everyday accidents such as paint or wine spillages

Added to your buildings insurance, accidental damage cover includes:

• Damage to underground drains, pipes and cables
• Breakages to fixed glass and sanitary fittings

Personal possessions cover

Protect your jewellery and portable electrical equipment that may be taken outside of the insured home. You can also protect money and credit cards, and possessions held within a bank or safe.

Added to your contents insurance, personal possessions cover includes:

• Up to £300 for cash and £600 for credit cards
• Accidental damage to personal items or loss and theft
• Protection for belongings anywhere in the British Isles
• Protection for belongings abroad for up to 60 days
• Protection for possessions belonging to you and all your family who live with you (maximum of £1,500 per item applies)

Home emergency legal protection (HELP)

This provides up to £50,000 to cover legal expenses in support of a claim or defence in court. This can cover a number of scenarios including:

• Contract and property disputes during the buying and hiring of goods or services, selling goods, or buying and selling your property
• Personal injury following an accident at work or in a public place
• Legal defence following a prosecution
• Employment disputes such as unfair dismissal or discrimination

In addition, you'll have access to our 24-hour helpline and claims service, with trained consultants who can provide free and confidential legal advice.

Protected No Claims Discount

If you've had four years or more without claiming you can choose to protect your No Claims Discount for your buildings or contents cover, or both. Simply use the drop down list when you get a quote online to add this level of protection to your cover.

Bicycle cover

This offers protection against accidental loss or damage to your bicycle. It is only available over the phone. Please call us on the number below to speak with a consultant.
