International Portfolio Bond

Your International Portfolio Bond is a single premium, whole of life investment bond which offers the potential for growth and provides either a small benefit on death (Lives Assured) or a benefit at the end of 99 years (Capital Redemption).

Please remember that the value of any investment you already have, or any top ups you make to the plan, can go down as well as up and you may not get back the amount you put in.

Yes, you can switch your money between funds at any time. With the PruFund range of funds, you can only make one change in to or out of them every three months. We don't currently charge you for this but if this changes in the future we’ll let you know.

Any units we cancel as a result of switches from the PruFund Range of Funds will be subject to a delay of 28 days to cancel units. The unit price on the final day of this 28 day period will be used as the price of the units for these purposes.

If you'd like to switch your funds you'll need to contact your financial adviser.

Our PruFund range of funds page shows the current Expected Growth Rates (EGRs) – simply select the International Portfolio Bond from the dropdown option. You'll also be able see the historic EGRs as well and any historic Unit Price Adjustments that have been made.

The value of an investment can go down as well as up and the value in the future may be less than the amount invested. For the range of PruFund funds, what you receive will depend on the value of the underlying investments, the Expected Growth Rates as set by the Directors of The Prudential Assurance Company Limited (PAC), our charges, the smoothing process and when you take your money out.
