Your Prudential Investment Plan is a tax efficient bond that gives you access to Prudential’s Multi-Asset fund range.

By logging in or registering for our Online Service you'll be able to view important information about your plan and update your personal details.

Registering for our Online Service is easy and only takes five minutes. You'll need your plan number, postcode and date of birth. Your plan number will be on any letter we've sent you.

Once registered, you'll be able to use the service straight away, at a time that suits you.

Before deciding to make any changes to your plan, or pay more money in, we recommend you speak to your financial adviser. They'll be able to provide advice that's right for you and your situation.

Please remember that the value of any investment you already have, or any additional investments you make to the plan, can go down as well as up and you may not get back the amount you put in.

What would you like to do?

You can find a copy of your annual statement and the current value of your plan by logging into our Online Service.

Register or login to our Online Service to send us a secure message with your new UK/foreign bank or building society details.

Please ensure any updated bank details reach us at least 10 working days before any payment is due.

Register or log in to our Online Service to update your address details quickly and easily.

To change your name, we’ll need a signed letter from you with details of your previous name and your new name. We’ll also need one of the following original documents: a Marriage Certificate, Civil Partnership Certificate, Decree Absolute, Final Order or a Deed Poll.

Please send the letter, including your plan number, to Prudential, Lancing, BN15 8GB. We'll return your document to you straight away.

The minimum initial investment is £10,000 and is after the deduction of any Set Up Adviser Charge. The maximum investment is £5 million. If you'd like to invest more than this, please contact your financial adviser. 

If you're thinking of making changes to your plan, including adding more money, we always recommend you speak to your financial adviser. They can help you understand if making changes is right for you and fits with your aims and circumstances. If you don’t have a financial adviser, you can find one at unbiased.co.uk.

Using an adviser means the Financial Ombudsman Service offers you protection against the advice they give you.  If you go ahead without advice, you’ll be taking responsibility for your own choices and how your money is invested.  Whether you get advice or not, if you feel you haven’t been treated fairly, you can refer any matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.  They help settle individual disputes between consumers and businesses providing financial services.

You can add to your plan at any time by completing the Additional Investment Application Form and sending this to us along with your payment.

You can switch your money between funds at any time.

If you'd like to switch your funds you'll need to contact us. It is important that you understand all your options and the impact of any changes you make. Our PruFund range of funds page shows the current Expected Growth Rates (EGRs) – simply select the Prudential Investment Plan from the dropdown option. You'll also be able see the historic EGRs as well and any historic Unit Price Adjustments that have been made.

The value of an investment can go down as well as up and the value in the future may be less than the amount invested. For the range of PruFund funds, what you receive will depend on the value of the underlying investments, the Expected Growth Rates as set by the Prudential Directors, our charges, the smoothing process, if there is a guarantee, and when you take your money out.

You can cash in your plan whenever you like, but please remember that it's designed to be a medium to long term investment, so five to 10 years or more.
