The minimum initial investment is £10,000 and is after the deduction of any Set Up Adviser Charge. The maximum investment is £500,000.

You can make additional top-ups of at least £10,000 and this is after the deduction of any Set Up Adviser Charge. The maximum investment is £500,000.

Please remember that the value of any investment you already have, or any top ups you make to the plan, can go down as well as up and you may not get back the amount you put in.

You can switch your money between funds at any time but you can only invest in ten funds at any time. We currently don’t charge you for switching but, if this changes in the future, we’ll let you know.

The minimum amount you can switch is £500. If you’re not switching the full value of your investment from a particular fund, you must leave at least £500 in that fund.

You can make partial and regular withdrawals from your plan. The minimum amount of any withdrawal is £50. If you’re not withdrawing the full value of your investment from a particular fund, you must leave at least £500 in that fund.

Please note that there are limits to the amount you can withdraw per year without incurring a tax liability. Please refer to the key features document for further information.

We’ll send you a statement every year.

Our PruFund range of funds page shows the current Expected Growth Rates (EGRs) – simply select the Prudential Investment Plan from the dropdown option . On this page, you can also see the historic EGRs as well any historic Unit Price Adjustments that have taken place.

You can cash in your plan whenever you like, but please remember that it is designed to be a medium to long term investment, so five to 10 years.

If your personal details have changed you can update this yourself by accessing MyPru. If you have not yet registered for MyPru registration only takes a few minutes, remember to have your customer reference number to hand - register for MyPru.

If you are looking to change your name or marital status you will need to write to us with the following:

  • Your customer reference number, your previous name, your new name and your new signature.
  • Your original Marriage Certificate, Deed Poll or Decree Absolute (this will be returned to you straight away).
