If you set up your Prudential ISA through a financial adviser

If you're thinking of making changes to your plan, including adding more money, it's really important you speak to your financial adviser. They can help you understand if what you want to do is right for you and your aims and circumstances, that may have changed since you took your plan out. They'll be responsible for the advice they give and you'll also have protection from the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Regardless of whether you’ve taken advice, you can refer any matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service for consideration should you feel that you haven't been treated fairly, or for any other aspect under the Financial Ombudsman Services remit.

If you want to top up your ISA please contact your financial adviser or alternatively call Link Financial Investments on 0344 335 8969.

If you set up your Prudential ISA online

If you'd like to make additional investments to your ISA, please log into your account through Link Financial Investments Limited.

Please note we only accept top ups without advice if the top up is invested in a fund you’re already invested in.

You can switch your money between funds at any time. There's currently is no charge for switching , although we reserve the right to apply a charge in the future.

Switches between PruFund funds will be made 28 days after your switch request is received using the unit price on the 28th day.

You can access your money at any time, however certain conditions apply to the withdrawals you can take from your ISA:

  • Partial withdrawals
The minimum amount you can take as a partial withdrawal from any one of your fund holdings is £250 per fund, and the remaining value of that fund after the withdrawal must be at least £500.
  • Regular withdrawals
Your regular withdrawals can be paid on the 5th or 20th of the month and can be paid on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annual basis.

The minimum amount you can take as a regular withdrawal from any one of your fund holdings is £50 per fund, and the remaining value of that fund after a regular withdrawal must be at least £500. This means if the regular withdrawal to be taken from a fund were to take the value of that fund below £500, the regular withdrawal amount from that particular fund will not be able to be made. So your total regular withdrawal paid from your ISA would either cease or be for a reduced amount.

The maximum that can be paid as regular withdrawals each year is 7.5% of the value of your ISA. This is determined at the point you start or increase regular withdrawals.

If you set up your Prudential ISA through a financial adviser
If you're thinking of taking withdrawals from your ISA we recommend you speak to your financial adviser. They can help you understand if what you want to do is right based on your circumstances. Going through your adviser may also be quicker as they can process your withdrawal request using their access to the Prudential ISA Online Service.
